Where to find a ball dress | Ballin'

So it's that time of year again and the annual Business Ball is emerging, you've already spent a pretty penny on your ticket alone and now comes the challenge of finding a dress to fit the occasion.

From the initial point of secondary school dances, I was always obsessed with finding a 'perfect' dress which would only be worn for one night. My obsession with online browsing for a dress came to the point that I could tell where most of the other girls dresses were from just due to my continual browsing of numerous websites.

I found my School Leavers Dress from a boutique called Pastiche Couture - based in Manchester (click here to visit the site). If you're looking for something fairly intricate or with a real sense of quality its definitely worth the look however I must warn you these items are more of an investment. You're guaranteed to feel glam to the max in one of these though so perhaps a good option for graduation ball or the likes.

I would thoroughly recommend the brands Sherri Hill and Pia Michi which elude luxury and are crafted from materials aimed to fit and hug your body in all of the right places.

The video below showcases just how amazing the Sherri Hill dresses are and although they do come with a hefty price tag, they certainly are guaranteed to make you feel amazing.

Along the same price tag line another viable website which is also seen to have a glamorous gown at bay is Forever Unique. Forever unique has its own direct website but can also be purchased through ASOS if you're worried about delivery times.  Perhaps slightly more affordable than the dresses featured on Pastiche Couture, but definitely for special occasion wear when your budget isn't so tight.

Another brand which i cannot stop myself drooling over is House of CB. House of CB and Mistress Rocks are sister brands with House of CB specialising in formal and party wear whilst Mistress Rocks focuses on more lounge and everyday items. The brand has a great selection of short statement dresses but also a tempting range of ball gowns. You can visit the site here, be wary though you may just end up HAVING to purchase one of these glam gowns.

Additionally Jeffrey Boutique which i mentioned in a previous post about boujee outfits  is an absolute go to. If you love sleek form fitting dresses in a bold colour choice, then this is your go to.

Below I've listed a selection of websites which can offer dresses which can pack just as much of a punch with out damaging your bank account just as much. Often a simple dress can be made to look just as expensive or have a high quality through the addition of tactfully chosen accessories. I'll probably be opting for a lower budget option for my next ball however I've still to find something that hits the spot. Pray for me.
